Thanks for clicking on my bio.
My name is Will Calkins. I’m a friendly, outgoing person who loves Colorado, strategizing about Real Estate and helping people feel at home in our great state. I’ve been an unofficial Board of Tourism for Colorado’s Front Range since I moved here in 2002. It’s truly enjoyable for me to help people make their dreams come true through buying and selling real estate.
Real estate with me is: fun, simple and most importantly, home!
My first home was in Chicago’s historic Oak Park area. I grew up exploring Frank Lloyd Wright homes, painting Victorians in historic neighborhoods and swimming and racing bicycles across the Midwest. I also got to explore a love of travel studying abroad in Spain twice and living in Spain, Italy and Venezuela before eventually deciding on Colorado. I can compare Colorado to many different places and I know that few can offer the quantity of mountains, sun, culture and affordable lifestyle that Colorado has.
Pedal to properties was a natural fit for me because of my history with bicycles. It’s also how I found my homes. I explored the neighborhoods by bicycle until I found a neighborhood that I felt comfortable with. I needed to feel comfortable with the home and also be able to envision my daily lifestyle. Would I be walking to a coffee shop? Driving to a Park-n-ride? Commuting 15 minutes or 50 to work? Those were considerations that were just as important to me as the layout, style and décor of the house that I was buying. Through Pedal to Properties, I can offer an unmatched experience for buyers in that regard.
Pedal to Properties realty also offers a highly-competent, low-pressure service for Sellers. Colorado real estate owners are typically go-getters who don’t need to be sold. We’ll do the research, the hard work and inform you of the Real Estate market realities that you need to be aware of. As your market expert, I look forward to helping you with that. I live and work in Longmont’s Renaissance neighborhood and am a neighborhood expert the Bouldmont area between Boulder and Longmont – including North Boulder, Niwot, Hygiene, Southwest Longmont and Lyons.
Next Travel Adventure: Coastal Colombia
Favorite Hike: Lake Isabel – Pawnee Pass – Pawnee Lake – Back to Brainard
Favorite Road Ride: Any group ride where I can pack-surf faster riders with more intense training plans.
Favorite Mountain Bike Ride: in Crested Butte – Anything with Meander, Snodgrass and 401. Strands is sweet. Linking them all gets harder every year but still happens 1-2 times a year.
I love to talk, so call me to chat, find a great place or to help get an idea of your home’s worth.
I look forward to hearing from you.
